This January a group of 9 ambitious and passionate students will lead the first ever Isenberg Citizens First (ICF) Service Mission Program to South Africa. During our 8 day trip we will lead four days of Seminars in Leadership and Computer Literacy for 100 Teachers and Park Rangers at the Timbavati Foundation. In addition, we will be expanding a sustainable garden at an orphanage in Soweto for children who have been effected by HIV/AIDS and work with animals who are being rehabilitated from hunting induced injuries at the Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Center.
This program is a great opportunity for Isenberg students craving to make a tangible difference around the world. We are working to connect these students with organizations that have massive impacts in their own communities as well as the country of South Africa as a whole. Your donation will help to defray the cost of travel and housing for these students who are donating 8 days of their time and energy to enact positive change in these developing areas. Helping to reduce these expenses will make it easier for Isenberg students to expand their humanitarian thinking and community involvement on a global scale, while enhancing leadership skills in the process of becoming active citizens of the world.
