Hi All,
We've officially reached our original goal of $1000! Thank you all for your generosity! Because of that generosity, we've been able to increase our goal to $1,250 for the last few days of our fundraiser.
Thank you again!
Hi everyone!
We are so thankful for the support we have received so far from the wider iCons community. With your help, we have nearly reached our goal to provide a dedicated student the support to continue learning and growing at UMass and through this innovative program. Thank you to all who have donated so far. Please help us achieve our target and bolster iCons and the incredible students that make it up. We've made it to 98%, help us cross the finish line!
My name is Lauren Carey, I’m a sophomore Biochemistry & Molecular Biology major and I received the Crowley-Nowick Scholarship last spring. Becoming an iCons student has been the most notable experience I have had in college. As an iCons student, I have had unique opportunities to collaborate with students of different backgrounds on project topics including Colony Collapse Disorder, Malaria & Antimicrobial Resistance, and lead levels in local drinking water. I have been able to to spend time in laboratory settings on campus using real experimental devices while doing self-driven work. Here at UMass, I have enrolled in many challenging courses related to engineering and the natural sciences. But what has truly proved to me that I can lead a bright and meaningful career in science is my experiences in the iCons program.
Hi all! Thank you so much to those of you who have already donated to this scholarship fundraiser. In light of Giving Tuesday this week, we urge you to consider this fundraiser as a place to donate money this year. Helping a young iCons student continue their journey through a scholarship will make a huge impact on their early college career. We're already at about 75% of our goal, help us reach 100%!
