Dear UMass Baseball Family:

Hello from Amherst and thank you for visiting our site!

Over the last two years we have exceeded our fundraising goals thanks to our generous supporters!  This year we look to once again raise the bar as we continue to move the #Flagship Baseball Program in the right direction! 

With this increased capital we have been able to make some of the program enhancements such as:

• Video Equipment for Game and Practice Film (arriving soon!)

• Large TV Monitors for Individual, Team and Scouting Video Review (arriving soon!)

• New HACK ATTACK pitching machine, plus a rehab to two other machines (currently in use)

This year, through the combined efforts of our golf tournament, multi-year pledges, UMass Gives and of course this Minutefund Page, we are looking to set the goal at $60,000.  

We have made great progress already, and with that we are setting the bar for this year’s Minutefund at $10,000

Just some of the ways that you will directly impact our Minutemen by giving this year are:

• Stalker Radar Gun w/ Spin Rate Technology (this will be paired with Synergy Video Technology and also help with our recruiting efforts and pitcher development through measuring spin rate of pitches as well as velocity! Brand new technology for a radar gun!)

• The addition of the practice football field with a winter bubble (nearly complete!) will come with some needs for us to get additional equipment such as portable pitching mounds, protective screens, sock nets, tees and much more.  Having these items will allow us to train freely and efficiently at multiple locations as the weather allows.  The addition of the “bubble” will be truly transformational in our preseason preparation!!
