The Fine Arts Center connects our audiences to a wide range of voices and perspectives.

The Fine Arts Center is committed to connecting our audiences to a wide range of voices and perspectives through performances, exhibitions, and educational programs. And, it is only with support from you that we are able to do this.

Help ensure that the Fine Arts Center continues to inspire people of all ages through:

  • our season of performances by artists who represent a variety of styles and backgrounds,
  • modest ticket prices that keep the arts accessible to everyone in our community,
  • our Global Arts program—daytime performances for K-12 school children,
  • Angel Tickets, providing access for those who otherwise couldn’t afford to attend,
  • Jazz in July, a concentrated two-week program allowing participants to study jazz improvisation with some of the nation’s best jazz educators and artists,
  • and free admission to the University Museum of Contemporary Art, Augusta Savage Gallery, and the Hampden Gallery.

These programs don’t exist without the generous philanthropic support of individuals and the business community. No gift is too small to make a difference in someone’s life. Thank you in advance for your support.

UMCA’s Initiative to Diversify Its Permanent Collection

Your gift will support the University Museum of Contemporary Art’s (UMCA) initiative to build and diversify its permanent collection to include more works by artists of color and women artists; reflecting its commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility. UMCA’s permanent collection is central to the museum’s mission of object-based learning and is a stimulus for interdisciplinary teaching and learning for UMass faculty, students, and staff, as well as visitors.

Augusta Savage Gallery (ASG)

Named in honor of acclaimed sculptor Augusta Savage and housed in UMass’ New Africa House, Augusta Savage Gallery (ASG) is a multicultural and multi-arts facility. Your gift will support ASG’s mission to promote artistic works from a broad spectrum of cultures. Exhibits are selected for their aesthetic integrity and their ability to enlighten the viewer on such issues as race, ethnicity, class, and cultural identity.

In whichever way you choose to support the FAC, please know that together, we can ensure that all generations can experience the wonders of the arts.
