Description
While it’s been over a year of uncertainty and challenges, we’ve found ways to overcome those and stay committed to our pursuit of academic and athletic success. Our student-athletes are truly grateful to be playing baseball this spring and look forward to finishing the season strong!
We ask that you show your commitment and appreciation with a gift during the 2021 UMass Gives Campaign (April 29-30).To those who have already supported us this year, thank you for your donation. Please consider another small gift to participate during this initiative, or encourage an alumni, teammate or friend to join this year’s effort. We’ve set a target of 100 total donors for the two-day giving period. Please help us hit the mark!
All gifts, no matter the amount, play a key role in the team’s success both academically and athletically.
Your donations will go toward funding:
- Replacement Indoor Batting Cages
- Protective Screens
- Dugout Renovations
- Blast Motion Hitting Sensors
- Sensors that are placed on each hitter’s bat throughout practice and scrimmages. These sensors monitor each swing taken and report data back to a central device managed by the coaching staff. Alongside video, we can compare data points such as bat speed, time to impact, attack angle, rotational speed, and more! Great training tool for improving swing plane, bat speed and awareness of our hitter’s swings.
Thank you for your support of our Baseball program!
