Massachusetts Softball

While it’s been over a year of uncertainty and challenges, we’ve found ways to overcome those and stay committed to our pursuit of academic and athletic success.  The team continues to play hard, and is battling for a berth in the Atlantic-10 Conference Tournament.   

We ask that you show your commitment and appreciation with a gift during the 2021 UMass Gives Campaign (April 29-30). To those who have already supported us this year, thank you for your donation. Please consider another small gift to participate during this initiative, or encourage an alumni, teammate or friend to join this year’s effort.  We’ve set a target of 125 total donors for the two-day giving period. Please help us hit the mark!     

During UMass Gives, you can also make multi-year commitments as a part of the UMass Softball Diamond Program.  These gifts help us anticipate donations, and will be important as we set our budget in future years.  Any contribution pledged over a five-year period will receive naming recognition on a plaque behind the home dugout.  Pledges between $100-$999 a year, will be part of a collection of names on one plaque.  Pledges of $1,000 or more a year will receive a stand-alone plaque behind the dugout.  You can make a multi-year pledge via the giving links or can contact David Biancamano (dbiancamano@umass.edu) for more information.  You are not required to make a multi-year pledge to support UMass Softball, and participate in UMass Gives.  All gifts, no matter the size, make a difference.
