Memorial Tree for Quinn Dyson

Quinn Dyson: A name that will live on eternally in the hearts of those who knew and loved the beautiful human being that she was. Quinn passed away last year in July of 2020. She was a student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst planning to graduate in May, 2023 with a degree in Economics. Quinn was a proud member of the UMass community and blessed the lives of everyone she encountered while on campus. Although Quinn's time at UMass was cut short, her presence here was no less impactful.

In remembrance of our beloved friend, we will be planting a tree in Quinn's name. This memorial tree will be planted in a location on campus where Quinn spent her time most. Quinn's legacy will live on eternally in our hearts, our memories, and through stories that will be passed on for generations. With your help, this tree will continue her legacy in a physical presence at the university: her second home. Friends and family who wish to visit UMass in remembrance of Quinn will have a designated place to sit, laugh, smile, and imagine when Quinn would do the same during her first year at UMass. New and old students will read her name, think of who she was, and recognize her overwhelming impact on the UMass community. She was beautiful, she was kind, she was bold, and she was the star of every show. Quinn, we love you and we always will.
