Alumni, Friends and Families:

Last year, we held our first ever Flagship Forward campaign, and the response from our Laxbackers supporters was tremendous. We have timed this year's campaign with our annual Laxbackers renewal process. You can use this opportunity to make your 2021-22 Laxbackers gift online during the week of November 1-5. 

In addition, we have a special opportunity for our Laxbackers this year. We recently auctioned off a painting (seen above) created by lacrosse alum John "Gonzo" Gonzalez, class of '90. The "Catch a Thrill on Boyden Hill" painting captured the legend, excitement, and spirit of watching, playing and coaching UMass Lacrosse on Garber Field. All proceeds from the auction held in early October supported the UMass Lacrosse program. With a Laxbackers donation of $500 this year, you will receive a 12" X 22" replica of Gonzo's painting, and with a contribution of $1,000, you can get a larger print (19" X 36"). 

It's a great opportunity to renew your Laxbacker donation and secure this one-of-a-kind print! 

In the past, Laxbackers have supported the following:

• Capital Projects: Bleachers, Turf Replacement Project & Videoboard, along with locker room and film room improvements. (Total support by Laxbackers to capital projects is now over $1.85M.)
• Alumni BBQ & Golf Tournament
• Team Travel and Meals
• Equipment
