The UMass Amherst Korean Student Association is a student-run organization, dedicated to promoting all aspects of Korean culture since 1989. As a non-exclusive group, our diverse general body members explore Korean culture, eat good food, and form camaraderie. We have just finished our annual Streets of Seoul event, an immersive experience of Korean street culture, complete with street food, performances, and photo ops! This event gives exposure to not only many of the on-campus performance groups that perform for us, but also to various aspects of Korean culture.
We have two events in the spring semester we will be fundraising for! The first is our Field Day collaboration with Amherst College, where we invite college students to an outdoor social gathering. We have many games planned, such as tug of war, dodgeball, spike ball, and capture the flag. With plenty of refreshments and catered Korean food, students will have an endless day of fun! The second event is CraftTea, where students on campus get the opportunity to paint with their friends while having tea. With this event being near finals week, this event serves as a mental break for many students. We hope to raise funds for food, games, decorations, and painting supplies. Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and we appreciate any contributions to our MinuteFund campaign!
