This March, a group of ambitious Isenberg students will travel to South Africa for the second International Internship in Service Leadership (ICF South Africa) program. During the ten day trip, students will lead seminars in computer literacy and math to teachers and safari park rangers at underprivileged high schools served by the Timbavati Foundation. The group will also deliver forty laptop computers and establish the fifth and sixth computer labs donated by the Isenberg School of Management. Our long term goal is to establish a computer lab in every one of the thirty underprivileged high schools served by the Foundation.
The International Internship in Service Leadership develops skills in leadership, consulting, advocacy, fundraising, and teaching, while providing students with the opportunity to make a lasting positive impact in South Africa. The group has set up this crowdfunding page for donations. One hundred percent of donations will be applied to laptop drives and chargers, as well as small scholarships for the student volunteers.
Thank you so much for supporting Isenberg students and our work in South Africa.
