Cape Cod Alumni Group Scholarship

In 2022, nearly 85% of UMass first-year students received scholarships, grants, loans and work-study opportunities. Generosity from our UMass community is essential to keeping a UMass Amherst education open and accessible to as many qualified students as possible. We ask you to support the Cape Cod Alumni Group’s scholarship and be a champion of student learning and growth at UMass. 

Where does my scholarship donation go? 

The Cape Cod Alumni Group has awarded more than $325,000 worth of scholarships over the past 27 years to 125 students. 

How many scholarships are awarded and to whom? 

Nine scholarships totaling $28,000 are awarded annually to eligible Cape Cod area high school seniors who attend UMass Amherst in the fall.  

Student Experience

Students have shared that the financial impact is significant for them. The scholarship affords them extra time to focus on their studies and campus activities rather than seeking additional employment to fund their education.
