In line with NSBE's mission, the UMass Amherst NSBE Chapter is working to increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community by working to plan to attend the 50th annual convention in Atlanta, GA.
The annual convention is the major event for the organization as it provides our chapter members with opportunities to network with professional from major companies and more than 20,000 other NSBE members from all over the world. Students also get to attend workshops, career fair, and resume prep where full-time jobs and summer internship opportunities will be offered. This not only benefits our members but also the organization for it provides an opportunities to expand our network with other NSBE chapters all over the world.
