About UMass ARC's Fundraising

UMass Against Rape Culture (ARC) is a student-led organization dedicated to combating rape culture and reducing sexual violence on campus and in the surrounding community. We aim to foster a safer environment by hosting educational events, raising awareness, and providing resources to support survivors of sexual assault. This year, we are raising funds to host initiatives, such as 'Walk a Mile in Her Shoes,” a powerful charity event where participants walk in heels to stand in solidarity with those who have faced sexual violence.

Your donations and support fuel a movement for change on the UMass campus and beyond. Every dollar raised helps us host educational workshops, organize events for increased advocacy, consciousness-raising, etc., and helps to create awareness campaigns that challenge harmful norms while promoting consent. With your generosity, we can collaborate with outside community organizations to extend our outreach and impact, fostering a community full of respectful individuals. Uplifting and supporting those who are victims of rape culture and sexual assault. Together, we can provide survivors and our community with access to resources, advocate for systemic change, and empower everyone to play a role in ending rape culture.
