The Food Recovery Network is an organization based on the UMass Amherst campus dedicated to combatting food waste by feeding people. We recover the leftover/overproduced food from Franklin Dining Commons that would otherwise become waste and serve it for free to the community out of the kitchen of the Old Newman Center. (Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/umassfoodrecovery/ for updates on which days/times we are recovering)
All donations will be used to purchase the necessary supplies for our recoveries. This includes additional insulated bags to be able to recover more food, alcohol wipes, paper towels, and cleaning spray to maintain our space, and most importantly to-go boxes and silverware as we are currently unable to serve food in-house so all service is to-go, as well as any other supplies associated with recovering and service food!
Scarlett is a really cool villain and because of her name she gets the final overkill donation level!
