The UMass Mock Trial Team is a student-run organization that competes in various tournaments nationally. Our goal each and every season is to bring a National Championship to UMass Amherst.
This year, we’re proud to announce that not one, but two of our teams have earned bids to the Open Round Championship Series (ORCS)! One team will be competing in Geneva, Illinois, and the other in Washington, D.C. This is an incredible accomplishment and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our members. However, with this success comes significant financial challenges and should we earn a bid to the National Championship Tournament, we currently don’t have the funding needed to make that trip possible.
Due to our unprecedented success this past year, we had to spend more money than expected to make this season the best it could possibly be. UMass Mock Trial is a team that is getting stronger every year, and in order to continue our ascension next year, we need your help.
