Northeast Regional Invasive Species and Climate Change Management Network Fund
The Northeast Regional Invasive Species & Climate Change (NE RISCC) Management Network aims to reduce the compounding effects of invasive species and climate change and includes scientists, natural resource practitioners, educators, policymakers, and stakeholders from the broader public across the Northeast. Through this community, our leadership team conducts, synthesizes, and shares actionable research and practitioner knowledge to inform natural resource management decision-making.
The NE RISCC Symposium is an annual highlight for our network and brings together the latest insights, project successes, and lessons learned from the network in two half-day virtual sessions. The 2026 Symposium is scheduled for March 24 and 25 from 10 am - 3 pm each day. Due to losses of federal funding to support NE RISCC, this year we are seeking donations to keep admission free and to support research and synthesis projects over the coming year.
To see the wealth of information that NE RISCC provides to the region, check out our website, which includes outreach documents, original research, recorded presentations, and scientific paper summaries. Want to learn more about NE RISCC’s impact? Check out the NE RISCC Overview.
Thank you for considering a donation to the NE RISCC. We truly appreciate your support and commitment to climate-smart invasive species management!
