Dear UMPL Sponsors,

First, the entire UMass Powerlifting team would like to extend our greatest thanks for your donations last year to nationals. Your donations made it possible for us to go to San Antonio last year and compete against other schools while proudly representing UMass. Without your donations we would not have been able to make it to nationals.                     

This year the National competition is being held in Texas again. We will be competing at Texas A&M in College Station Texas, which means that we will need flights, hotels, and rental cars in order to compete. Last year we sent 5 lifters, but this year we doubled our number of lifters to a total of 10 which is awesome. It is very exciting to have members competing in their first national competition.                         

We are hoping to raise $2500 through our minute fund in order to subsidize our lifters journey to the land of powerlifting that is Texas. We had a very successful fundraiser last semester and as a club we plan to hold another event this semester to try to raise money. However, we still need your help!
