Support WMUA Today!

WMUA Amherst 91.1 FM has been broadcasting across the Pioneer Valley and beyond since 1948. Since our formation, our goal has been to deliver quality and diverse radio programming to community members that feature music, news, and sports. With over 300 members and over 100 shows, we have created an on-campus community that centers around alternative media and provides students with an opportunity to interact with broadcasting, news writing, interviewing, production, and more!

Your support helps us to continue the legacy of student-run radio, programming that is infused with the unbound passion and creativity of its members. Donations will be put towards updating technology, such as headphones, soundboard equipment, and microphones; hosting on-campus events and concerts; zine materials; and sending journalists to interview bands and document concerts.

From December 1st through December 5th, WMUA will be hosting a live, on-air celebration of college radio, our general body, and our supporters to accompany this fundraising initiative. Each day of the week will follow a different theme of programming, so tune into 91.1 on the FM Dial or on our website for WMUA Wrapped Monday, Physical Music Tuesday, Community Wednesday, Live Music Thursday, or DJ Appreciation Friday!

We greatly appreciate donations of any size. Your generosity directly supports our members and allows us to continue offering worthwhile events and programming to our community. If you have any questions, please contact wmuamanager@umass.edu
