American Hotel & Lodging Association 2026
The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) Student Chapter at UMass is a registered student organization that helps students prepare for careers in the hospitality industry. As part of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, we connect students with real-world industry experience beyond the classroom.
At our meetings, members network with hotel executives, industry professionals, and UMass alumni working in hospitality. These events provide valuable mentorship, career advice, and insight into internships and full-time opportunities within the lodging industry.
We are currently raising money to support our annual Boston industry trip in April, where students tour major hotel properties and meet with hospitality leaders. Fundraising helps ensure all members can participate in this hands-on, career-building experience.
