Women's Rugby

            The UMass Women's Rugby team is a great group of women who know how to work hard on and off the field. Last semester, many of our A side players graduated and we lost our coach; so this semester has been about rebuilding our team and making many overall improvements. Recruitment went well and we have an amazing new coach helping to lead the team. Now it is time to make even more changes. 

            Rugby is a fun but tough sport. Without taking proper safety measures, it is easy for people to get hurt. One thing that keeps us safe during our games are goal post pads. Goal post pads go on the bottoms of our uprights  These pads protect the players from getting injured on one of the metal poles during games. Our current goal post pads have done their time and are now being taped together to prevent them from hanging off the poles. As you can probably guess, this is not the safest option for us. That is where you come in! Any donations received will be put toward better goal post pads for the team! Help keep your favorite UMass club sports team safe this season and donate.  Thank you!!
