2018 UMass Roller Hockey

Your UMass Minutemen have earned a bid to the National Championships for the fourth straight year! This year's Nationals are in Fargo, North Dakota and the tournament will run from April 11th-15th.  After a disappointing loss in the 2015 National Title Game, we won the 2016 D2 National Championship in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on April 6th, 2016. Last year's team moved up to Division 1 and was very successful finishing 4th in our Conference, and we are currently ranked 11th in the Nation. They made it to the playoffs of nationals before losing to the eventual national finalist. This years team has had its ups and downs but eventually finished fifth in our conference and are ranked 12th nationally. 

We need YOUR help to achieve our goal of taking part in the National Championships! This trip is very expensive and we are doing everything in our power to help fund this incredible opportunity. Whether it is a donation, attending our fundraiser, or helping spread the word about our mission, anything helps! Please share this page with friends and family via word of mouth, or through social media. Any and all donations will be accepted and we appreciate everyone's help! 

Donations via the MinuteFund or through attendance at our fundraiser will go towards registration fees, plane tickets from Boston to Minneapolis, rental vehicles to get us from MN to Fargo, and six nights stay at a local hotel. Every penny counts!
