The University Libraries at UMass Amherst – the largest publicly-supported research library in New England – engages with students and faculty in support of teaching, learning, and research. The UMass Amherst Libraries, comprised of the W. E. B. Du Bois Library, the Science and Engineering Library, and the Mount Ida Wadsworth Library, are the largest publicly supported research libraries in New England. With over eight million items available in print and online to the campus community and the citizens of the Commonwealth, the Libraries are the most visited places on campus.
